How to Creating and Booting a New Kernel With autoconfig

I only know the autoconfig command is used invoke lboot and other commands to generate a new kernel. but I know few about lboot in detail.

I  want to config the knerl just like config dos at all time,so i want to know the relation between autoconfig and lboot.
Now ,without your help,i don`t know when my idea will coming true!
